Squires Student Center
Squires and Johnston Student Centers are hubs of activity for the university
community. They serve as formal and informal meeting places for student
organizations, students and the larger university community. Facilities
include meeting rooms, conference rooms, ballrooms, and theatres. Plenty
of comfortable informal space welcomes students to study, visit friends,
or just hang out. Services include ATMs, Virginia Tech Credit Union, and
food courts.
Also located in Squires is the Perspective Art Gallery which presents
exhibitions throughout the year, providing diverse artists, media, and
styles. View the work of local and regional artists, as well as those
of national and international reputation. Receptions offer the opportunity
to meet and talk with artists. Visits to the gallery, located on the second
floor of Squires Student Center, are always free. While in both student
centers, enjoy our permanent art collection, located throughout the public
